CENSORSHIP Art Spots

Example Videos

We invite you to submit an art video to us for consideration (10-40 seconds in length) that explores the issue of art censorship. Sound is encouraged—whether it’s music, ambient, voice over, or something else. Our aim is to post a curated collection of individual videos from artists to the DDA Instagram account, where we will tag the artist and/or create a “collaborative post” with the artist, who can then also re-share the post via Reels. (For artists who do not want a collaborative post to disrupt their curated feed, they are welcome share DDA's post to their "stories.” We will tag you in our stories and posts so that our followers can find your account, and your work.) You are welcome to send in previous artwork that fits this theme, or you are welcome to make a new video. Works that clearly address the issue of artistic censorship have a greater likelihood of being selected.

To each video, we’ll add an intro and a closing slide. We’ll accept submissions via email only to dontdeleteart@gmail.com, and will begin posting accepted videos on a rolling basis.
